Camping

We had way fun camping last week! We rode four wheelers, played games, soaked up the sun (one side of me did at least!...see photo above) and caught a bunch of fish (and I even cleaned mine!! yuck!) we had so much fun!

Happy 4th of July

For the 4th we had a family BBQ at my parents house. We had food, fun, games, dancing and of course fireworks! It was fun! Everyone did all their fireworks and then Cory and his friend went out on the lake in the canoe and lit some fun big ones off! It was quite the show!

Birthday Bash!

For my birthday this year, we just kinda relaxed and took it easy, which is just what I wanted (we just got back from our 12 1/2 hour drive home from Washington the night before). We went out to luch, and then had family come over for pizza, cake and ice-cream! I had a very good day!

That weekend we had a big birthday and late fathers day celebration BBQ over at Mike and Brenda's house (there are a lot of June birthdays in the Coates family!) So we celebrated everyones birthday! Brenda got a cake for everyone and added up all of our ages for a total of 149 candles for us all to blow out!! (i think, it was somewhere around there!)

Washington

A couple of weeks ago, we went to visit BJ's Friend Jamin, his wife Leah and their son David in Washington. We had a blast, we went to downtown Portland and got to see the Temple, We Drove out to Lake Merwin, and spent a day in Seattle.

In Seattle, we went to the Space Needle (which was amazing!), and rode the monorail across town. We went to Pike's Place Fish Market, that was fun. We got to watch them throw the fish back and forth to eachother for a little while. We went to a big aquarium and saw a bunch of really cool fish, starfish, octopus, etc. We also went on an underground tour of Seattle that was really cool! We had so much fun! Thanks Jamin and Leah for letting us stay with you!
