Her favorite part was all the monkeys, she thought they were so funny. We could have spent all day with them and she would be happy. She also loved the carosel, she rode on it twice and didn't want to get off. We had a lot of fun, can't wait to go back!

For Payslie's birthday, we had a peanut party. Everything was elephants and peanuts. It turned out really cute, and Payslie had a BLAST! I was worried she would be a grouch because the party was right around her naptime, but she had so much fun, and was soo happy! She enjoyed opening all her presents and LOVED eating her cake! It was so cute! She would be eating it and then every few bites would stop and say Mmmmmm! haha she is the cutest ever! I can't believe that she is already one!

Holy moly! It has been a long time since I posted last. I'm really bad at that. I don't post forever and then I have like three months to catch up on.

These are just some random pics of what we have been up to the last little while. Payslie, as you can see is getting so big so fast. She has 5 almost 6 teeth now. She is trying to walk on her own, the most steps as of today she's taken by herself is 9. It will be so soon now that she will just take off! She gets into EVERYTHING!!! I don't know if I want her walking yet :) She finds it so fun to clear things off of every surface she can reach or every bag she can empty and spread everything all over the floor. Her favorite words to say are; "kitty", "whoosat" (who's that), "dada" and a lot of other jibberish words. She waves and blows kisses too! Her fits and her attitude are also getting bigger, she is quite the little sass. She does not like when we tell her "no" but will test her limits and see how much she can get away with before you come and get her....oh how I love our little stinker!

For spring break this year we went camping at Bryce Canyon with my parents and Squish. It was fun but cold. It was our first camping trip of the year, and Payslie's first ever. She did pretty good, but I don't think she enjoyed it as much as we did. She didn't understand why she had to wear her beenie and mittons to stay warm and would take them off, but then she got cold and didn't like that either. She did enjoy the 4-wheeler so we rode around the camp alot with her. Overall we had fun and got to enjoy the beautiful views Bryce Canyon has to offer.

Payslie at the Doctor with RSV

Just after she had to get blood drawn for some tests.

Our poor little Payslie has had quite the last few weeks. She got really sick one Saturday and so on Sunday we took her to an insta care and found out she had a double ear infection and the doctor sent us to the hospital for an RSV test. Well, sure enough, along with her poor ear infections, she had RSV as well. We had to take her to the hospital a couple of times to get all of her mucus suctioned out of her chest and help clear out her sinuses. I hated that. It was so sad to hold her down while they stuck a tube 6 inches up her nose, and down her throat :( Ugh, needless to say it was a rough week or two.

Well, just when we thought she was getting better, she came down with a fever. She didn't have any other symptoms or anything but we took her to the doctor and he said not to worry but come back if it lasted for another 3 days. So......3 days and a fever of 103.3 degrees later, we were at the doctor's office AGAIN. They were concerned that her fever had lasted 5 days now, but also that she had no other symptoms so they had us go to the hospital and do some blood tests, and we had to get her suctioned again so they could test her mucus as well. They said if they didn't find anything from the blood work they would probably have to do a catheter and test her urine. (Luckily we didn't have to do that!!) The only thing they found from the tests is that she had a viral infection called Rhinovirus. I guess it is basically like a common cold and can be caused from having RSV, so luckily it isn't anything to worry about, I just wish she didn't have to go through so much to find out she had a stupid cold!

Our Poor baby is so sick and afraid of doctors now, I think this experience has scarred her (and me) for life.

WOW! A lot has happened since I last posted about Payslie. She is now, very mobile, and can crawl and climb up on everything. She has her two top teeth now along with her two bottom ones. She finds it very entertaining to grind her top and bottom teeth together and the sound of it drives us crazy!!

I took her to get her ears pierced when she turned 9 months. They are so stinking cute and don't bother her at all. She doesn't even know they are there.

She loves her puppy Jazzmin. As you can tell from the pictures, she is a very large puppy! but they get along great. Payslie sits by the glass door and watches her play outside, and when she comes in Payslie watches her play and giggles everytime Jazzmin walks by her.

Payslie can give kisses now. I love it! When you ask her for kisses, she opens her mouth as wide as she can a lays a big slobbery one right on your cheek. My favorite thing is when she looks at me or BJ and gives us a big fat kiss with out us even asking!

Oh man, I could go on all day about all of the cute (and not so cute) things that she does. We love our little stinker more than anything!

It was so sad to see her cute little mohawk get so short and the little pieces that flipped up off of her ears dissapear. Payslie is 7 months! oh my gosh, I know I keep saying this but really, time has gone way too fast! She is growing so fast. She is trying to crawl, but can only figure out how to scoot backwards. We have our puppy! (we have actually had her for like two weeks now, i'm just slow at blogging!) She is a lot of fun, and a lot of work! I didn't realize we would be taking care of two babies :) She is cute though, we love her. She loves Payslie and tries to play with her while she is in her jumperoo. She LOVES to snuggle and will climb in your lap to sleep. ( I wish it was Payslie who would do the snuggling but i'll take it!) She is such a fun puppy and so cute, we love her!

I can't believe that my little Payslie is 6 months old already! Where has the time gone? She is a handful but she is so much fun. I love this stage that she is at, she laughs and rolls and can sit up and play with us. The only problem is that she can throw some major fits! She has always known how to get her way, but if she wants something or doesn't want something, she lets you know and she can express it a lot louder now! I also love that she knows who people are now, she recognizes BJ and I and gets sad when we leave a room and excited to see us. (This is cute but sometimes annoying when someone is holding her and she throws a fit until Mommy holds her again!) She is the cutest little stinker ever!

These ducks randomly showed up at my Parent's house and have been there for a couple of days. One even layed an egg in their yard!!! (don't worry, Brooky has adopted it already and has it wrapped in blankets, anxiously awaiting the day she gets to raise a baby duck!) They are quite friendly...although one did bite my leg (I might have egged it on though!) We went out and fed them bread crumbs and played with them for a while. WOW! It has been FOREVER since I updated the blog. So much has happened since my last post. I can't believe how big Payslie is getting! She's 2 months now and weighs 11lbs. She has been so much fun the last few weeks, she smiles at you all the time and is so responsive. For Valentines day, BJ actually had to work, but we still had a good night. I had a nice, candlelit dinner of miniature pizzas, breadsticks, salad and chocolate cake (that he had requested) ready for him when he got home. For new years we went with my family to St. George to stay at Papa and Nana's new house. It was fun, there was plenty of food, fun, games, etc. One of the games we played, you had to be blindfolded and there was a bowl full of little papers in front of you. The object was to blow as many of the papers out of the bowl without looking because some of them had numbers on them and you were trying to get the highest score. You had three blows to get as many papers out as you could, but on the third try, someone changes the bowl to one that is full of flour so when you blow, it gets all over! It was pretty entertaining for those who didn't have to do it :)

I am sorry that I have not posted anything in FOREVER, but life has been crazy these past few months so here is an update... all within a few weeks, B.J. had a birthday, it was Halloween and we moved into our house! It has been exciting but very busy. We love, love, love, our house, I still have a few boxes to unpack and then start the decorating and then maybe I will post pictures of the inside! Also, some more exciting news, the reason I have been such a slacker is because....we're pregnant!!!!!!!! I am 9 weeks along and we are so excited! On Saturday all us girls got together to go the the Relief Society Brodcast. We stopped to have dinner on the way and had ice-cream after! Can't get any better than that!

On the 26th we went to the Nickelback concert with my Mom and my aunt Leslie. It was a blast. Saving Abel, Papa Roach and Hinder all were there too. We had a lot of fun! It was a great concert!

They have the foundation done for our house. yay it is coming along! They said they are going to start framing it today so after that it will go up super fast! They told us to plan on it being done the end of next month! We can't wait.

The other day, Allie, Maegan and I got together for lunch at the Olive Garden. It was so fun to see them, I hadn't seen them in forever! We spent the day catching up and eating yummy food!

We had way fun camping last week! We rode four wheelers, played games, soaked up the sun (one side of me did at least!...see photo above) and caught a bunch of fish (and I even cleaned mine!! yuck!) we had so much fun!

For the 4th we had a family BBQ at my parents house. We had food, fun, games, dancing and of course fireworks! It was fun! Everyone did all their fireworks and then Cory and his friend went out on the lake in the canoe and lit some fun big ones off! It was quite the show!

Birthday Bash!

For my birthday this year, we just kinda relaxed and took it easy, which is just what I wanted (we just got back from our 12 1/2 hour drive home from Washington the night before). We went out to luch, and then had family come over for pizza, cake and ice-cream! I had a very good day!

That weekend we had a big birthday and late fathers day celebration BBQ over at Mike and Brenda's house (there are a lot of June birthdays in the Coates family!) So we celebrated everyones birthday! Brenda got a cake for everyone and added up all of our ages for a total of 149 candles for us all to blow out!! (i think, it was somewhere around there!)

A couple of weeks ago, we went to visit BJ's Friend Jamin, his wife Leah and their son David in Washington. We had a blast, we went to downtown Portland and got to see the Temple, We Drove out to Lake Merwin, and spent a day in Seattle.

In Seattle, we went to the Space Needle (which was amazing!), and rode the monorail across town. We went to Pike's Place Fish Market, that was fun. We got to watch them throw the fish back and forth to eachother for a little while. We went to a big aquarium and saw a bunch of really cool fish, starfish, octopus, etc. We also went on an underground tour of Seattle that was really cool! We had so much fun! Thanks Jamin and Leah for letting us stay with you!

For spring break we went with our families to Moab. It was really fun! We went four wheeling, hiking, swimming, and just hung around. The weather could have been a little bit better, but even in the muddy rain and having our tent almost blow away, we had a blast!

This beautiful Desert Oasis is the home of the Greek Orthodox near Grandma and Grandpa Coates' place outside Florence. All of the Monks dress in black from head to toe, even in the dead scorching heat of summer, how they do it, I don't know! It was so pretty they do all of the landscaping themselves and make everything from clothes, to food, and even provide fire department service to the town of Florence!

For BJ's spring break, we went to his Grandpa and Grandma's winter home in Florence, AZ along with Jesse and Sarah (BJ's brother and his wife). We visited a few different places on the way down, as well as while we were there (refer to the pictures above!) We all had a really good time and the weather was great! It was soooo warm I didn't want to leave!

We both got the lovely cold that has been going around. We both caught it the same day and as you can see, went through quite a few boxes of tissues! BJ's lasted longer than mine did and unfortunately had a sinus infection but we are both better now thank goodness!

With our tax returns this year, we decided after paying off a couple of bills, to spend it on something fun. It just so happened that BJ had been wanting a new tv for the longest time, so he finally got his wish and we went and bought his dream tv!

Since February is the month for lovin, I wanted to express my love for my amazing husband, BJ. Being married is the greatest thing in the whole world, I love every minute of it! He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I don't know where I would be without him. I am so thankful for him and the example he is to me. While enjoying a 3D movie at Thanksgiving Point, we decided to take a picture of how ridiculous we all looked in our glasses. Well, since Madre was in the middle, she was nominated to take the picture...as you can see it took her a couple of tries! but with the help of a stranger who was silently laughing at our struggle to fit everyone in, she volunteered to take our picture for us!

For family night we all went out on the lake to ride four wheelers and play on the tubes. Fortunately nobody fell through the ice and there were no injuries (although Tanie had a sore knee and me a sore bum!) besides that and a few frozen limbs, everyone had a fun time!

This year for New Year's we went to Papa and Nana's house in St. George with the rest of my family. It was so fun to be able to get away, and it was so warm!!! We had a great time with everyone playing games, throwing knives, eating, playing the WII, eating, some more playing and a little more eating!

Our very first Christmas married was the best ever! It was the funnest thing to wake up next to the love of my life and spend the morning with him opening our presents and enjoying this wonderful holiday! On Monday, Squish slept over at our apartment and we decided to go out and make a Snowman! It was freezing cold, neither of us had snow pants or warm shoes on, and we just had on some thin gloves that we managed to find... we got pretty wet! It was worth it though, we both had a lot of fun, and BJ enjoyed watching us struggle in the deep snow...(through the window!)

Every year since BJ was 5, his family has been going to a little Christmas shop in Park City and they each get to choose their very own ornament to hang on the tree. This was the first year I got to participate in the tradition and it was so fun! We now have all 23 of BJ's ornaments plus my first one on our tree... it's so cute!

Earlier this month, One of BJ's best friends Jamin, His wife Leah and their son David came to visit from Washington. It was so fun, it was the first time meeting them for me, but we all got along great! We had a good time, we went to Park City, and Thanksgiving point while they were here and just hung out for the weekend they were here. We were sad to see them go but we're hoping to be able to pay them a visit next!

Halloween this year was so fun. We even got to dress up twice, once for our Halloween party and once at work. BJ got a new mask for Halloween this year and so he wore it to the party, unfortunately, we couldn't wear masks to work so we had to find him something else... a pregnant nun! it was hillarious everyone got a laugh out of it.

For our honeymoon, we went To Yellowstone National Park. It was Freezing cold but so so fun! We stayed in a little cabin at the Hibernation Station in West Yellowstone right by the entrance of the park. We saw a lot of animals, including a black bear (from quite a distance) and had a ton of fun.

B.J. and I got married in the Salt Lake City Temple on August 28,2008. It was the best day of my life! Everything turned out just the way I had imagined it if not better. It was so special, i enjoyed every Minute of it... (except my cheeks got a little sore from all the smiling!) It was a long day but I would re-live it if I could.
